The function is called ”Rotor Test” / ”Reject” and is automatically activated when needed.
The function means that if no rotor pulses arrive at the main board for 30 seconds (for defrosting and humidity reduction the time is 4 minutes), the following is performed depending on the current outdoor temperature.
Outdoor air temperature above zero degrees Celsius.
a. Indicated in the control panel with:
i. AVC-02: ”rt”.
ii. EC: Under Measured values/Operating mode Extra: ”Rotor test”.
b. TL and FL fans run as normal.
c. Rotor stops for two minutes.
d. Rotor runs constantly for one minute.
i. If no pulses arrive at the computer, repeat points ”1.c.” and
”1.d.” three times before the rotor alarm goes off.
ii. If pulses are received by the computer, the unit returns to normal control.
Outside air temperature below zero degrees centigrade (Display).
a. Indicated in the control panel with:
i. AVC-02: ”rt” / ”A” as toggle.
ii. EC: Under Measured values/Operating mode Extra: ”Display”.
b. TL fan stops and FL fan runs with at least 50% capacity.
c. Post-heating coil on.
d. Rotor stops for 10 minutes.
e. Rotor runs constantly for one minute.
i. If no pulses arrive at the computer, repeat points ”2.d.” and
”2.e.” three times before the alarm goes off.
ii. If pulses are received by the computer, a 30-minute defrost is performed before the unit returns to normal control.
