EvoControl Ventilation – MPO1 Display

The function means that if the heat exchanger (rotor) stops, 3 attempts are made to start it again before the alarm goes off.

At plus degrees

1. Control signal to heat exchanger and supply air fan becomes 0 during 2 minutes and the exhaust fan continues after the set value
2. Then the heat exchanger is tested for 1 minute, if the heat exchanger starts signalling again, the unit returns to normal operation

At freezing temperatures (de-icing)

At sub-zero temperatures, it is assumed that the heat exchanger is frozen and de-icing begins

1. Control signal to heat exchanger and supply air fan becomes 0 during 10 minutes and the exhaust fan runs with at least 50%
2. Then the heat exchanger is tested for 1 minute, if the heat exchanger starts signalling again, a defrosting in 30 minutes before the unit returns to normal operation
