6.3 Extra operating mode

Under the menu Measurement values shown “Extra operating mode”, special operating modes as below.

AV:

  • No special operating modes.

Defrosting:

  • Defrosting of the heat exchanger takes place.

Heat retention:

  • In the case of a water battery, a certain return temperature is maintained.

Freeze protection:

  • In the case of a water coil, the actuator opens at a certain return temperature.

Refrigeration recovery:

  • The rotor runs if the exhaust air temperature is cooler than the outside air.

Freezing:

  • The unit blows in the cooler outside air when the indoor temperature gets too high.

Reserve operation (Emergency):

  • The unit alarms but the extract air is running.

Moisture reduction:

  • Increased ventilation and the heat exchanger recovers less moisture.

Winter drift:

  • Changes the balance of ventilation and moisture reduction when the outside temperature goes below a certain temperature.

Deportation:

  • The heat exchanger has stopped at sub-zero temperatures, the probable cause is ice formation, then an attempt is made to de-ice the heat exchanger before the alarm goes off.

VVX alarm control:

  • The heat exchanger has stopped, then an attempt is made to start the heat exchanger before the alarm goes off.

Start-up:

  • The unit is starting up the fans and the heat exchanger.

Presence:

  • Attendance sensor/function activated.
